Juniors_2011_web

The Junior Section of the club has had a very successful year. Under the club Coach Alan Armstrong the Juniors commenced weekly coaching sessions with Alan and clearly all of the Juniors enjoyed the sessions. In addition under the match committee the Juniors had their own competitions on Saturday mornings which they also enjoyed. The theme of the sessions is having fun and progressing to the more serious side of playing the game and learing the rules. After the season closed Alan carried on the coaching sessions after school on Tuesday's and all the jyuniors turn up regularly for the sessions. In addition Alan with the much appreciated assistance of Dumbarton Indoor Bowling Club takes the juniors to the Indoor about once a month for a two hour session. A major step forward for the club to introduce youngsters to the sport, Alan's contribution to this programme is invaluable and much appreciated.
